The Porchetta Tronchetto or Slice is produced from the central portion, loin and belly, of the whole pig without the head, shoulder and thigh. The processing follows the same phases as the preparation of Porchetta, as are the same smells and aromas used including, of course, the liver filling.
Due to its small size and greater ease of cutting compared to whole porchetta, the Cariani Porchetta Tronchetto is in great demand by supermarkets (large-scale retail trade), groceries, delicatessens, street vendors, restaurants, catering, sandwich shops, pubs and breweries. It is also ideal for receptions and private receptions.
It does not contain preservatives and antioxidants.
The whole log ranges from 12 kg to 16 kg, the half log from 6 kg to 8 kg.
It can be shipped to Italy and Europe with refrigerated transport.
