The whole Porchetta Cariani is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Its pink and tasty meat is obtained by baking the whole pig in the oven, seasoned with a mixture of spices (salt, pepper, rosemary, garlic and wild fennel) and with a special filling of livers, according to the Bevagna recipe.
The Porchetta di Bevagna Cariani, a true gastronomic delicacy recognized as a Traditional Umbrian Agri-food Product (PAT) and “Due Fette” in the Gambero Rosso Guide “Grandi Salumi”, can be enjoyed in a nice sandwich served by the many Food Trucks in Umbria and in the center Italy.
It does not contain preservatives and antioxidants.
The weight of the porchetta varies from a minimum of 45 kg to a maximum of 55 kg.
It can be shipped to Italy and Europe with refrigerated transport.
