BURANA ACETAIA

Produces Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, in the renovated and prestigious acetaia in San Martino di Mugnano (Modena).

The production of balsamic vinegar was started in the years 1910-1915 at the family level by the ‘Burana’, Currently the nephew with the support of some collaborators takes care of the whole and delicate process.

The acetaia works only with wooden barrels, offers to connoisseurs, customers, and lovers of Good Food, different types of balsamic vinegar, this with regard to ageing, density and unique taste as unique is our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.

What we produce: proudly made in Modena!

First we grow grapes then we get and produce the precious must for our certificate Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, in the renovated site of San Martino di Mugnano . The old family tradition is continuing from time ago when in the years 1910-1915 the family ‘Burana’ thought to start an own small production of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Now as in the past we utilize our own or selected raw materials and we age our ‘Balsamico’ in barrels made of different type of woods. With a rigid quality control inside the factory with complete traceability and certification.  We offer to all customers, experts and food lovers high quality of Balsamico’ as far as it concerns ageing , unique taste. warranty of our genuine ‘jewels. 

Between our ‘Vinegars’, the ‘Traditional di Modena I’ stands out of course. Aged for long:12 year as minimum time and 25 years min as top gold seal. The age of our Traditional Balsamic Vinegars of Modena is duly certified by an Independent Body appointed by Ministero delle Politiche Agricole e Forestali.

In addition to vinegar  Burana offers delicate extra virgin olive oils from its own olive groves located in the Ligurian East, complete the range pickled and pitted olives, olive Pate, Genoese pesto.

Burana also offers traditional products such as the Lambrusco Grasparossa Di Castelvetro DOP “L’Antica Vite”
