La Collina dei Melograni was born from a dream of its owner Mario Promontorio. Born and raised in Rome in 1962, he has always had a passion for nature and for the rediscovery of the countryside, which he considered the fulcrum for the rebirth of society.
The property, approximately 10 HA, was purchased in 2014 and with great commitment it was first completely reclaimed from both an environmental and building point of view, and was subsequently converted into fruit growing.
The company aims for a totally eco-sustainable future, also from an energy point of view, which is why it starts from organic, for cultivation that is genuine for man and respectful of nature, leading the consumer to a rediscovery of the authentic flavors of the earth.
Our company is managed by a family management that pays attention to detail in every aspect, designed by the complete restoration of the previous structure and personally followed by the owner, who, faithful to his ideal of caring for others, personally took care of the plantation.
It is our belief that we will leave a better world only with a balanced, respectful and in harmony use of the resources that nature makes available to us, hence the choice to adhere to the organic method, which certainly requires a considerable expenditure of economic resources and dedicated time, more than conventional cultivation, but which, in exchange, gives the awareness of having done good for the planet.
